The Chopta Tungnath Chandrashila Trek is a scenic and moderate-level Himalayan trek nestled in Uttarakhand. Starting from the picturesque meadows of Chopta, the trail ascends through rhododendron forests and snow-capped paths to reach Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world. A further steep climb leads to Chandrashila Peak (4,000m), offering a panoramic 360° view of majestic peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba.

Ideal for both beginners and seasoned trekkers, the trek is rich in natural beauty, spiritual energy, and breathtaking vistas—making it one of the most rewarding short treks in India.

Day 0

Start your journey from Delhi at night by comfortable tempo traveller or bus. Enjoy the overnight ride to Guptakashi.

Day 1

Arrive in Guptkashi by afternoon. Check-in at Kedar Camp Resort. In the evening, visit the spiritual
Kalimath Temple. Enjoy dinner and rest overnight at the resort.

Day 2

Drive to Chopta in the morning. Begin trek to Tungnath Temple and further up to Chandrashila Peak
for a breathtaking Himalayan view. Descend and transfer to Sari for overnight stay.

Day 3

Trek to Deoriatal Lake in the morning, admire the beautiful reflections of Chaukhamba peaks.
Return and start your overnight journey back to Delhi.

Day 4

Reach Delhi early morning with unforgettable memories.
