Itinerary

Assemble at the departure point in New Delhi at Saket Metro Station Gate No.2 by evening/night.

  • Evening/night departure from New Delhi by tempo traveller.
  • Overnight journey to Chopta.

Explore the campsite, forest walk, and enjoy views of Devprayag and the Bhagirathi–Alaknanda river confluence en route.

  • Morning arrival at Chopta, check-in to campsite.
  • Freshen up and relax amidst the alpine meadows.
  • Short acclimatization walk and sunset view from Chopta.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Chopta.

Early breakfast; begin trek to Tungnath (world’s highest Shiva temple, 3.5 km moderate ascent). Continue trekking 1.5 km further to Chandrashila Peak (360° Himalayan view of Nanda Devi, Chaukhamba, Trishul, Kedarnath peaks). Descend back to Chopta by evening.

  • Early breakfast and start the 5 km trek from Chopta to Tungnath Temple (approx. 3–4 hrs).
  • After darshan, continue 1.5 km steep trek to Chandrashila Peak.
  • Enjoy breathtaking 360° Himalayan views.
  • Trek back to Chopta by evening.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Chopta.

Post breakfast, drive half an hour to Sari village. Trek 2 km to Devoria Taal: serene lake with iconic mountain reflections. Depart back to New Delhi (arrival late night/next morning).

  • Trek 2.5 km to Deoria Taal, a serene lake surrounded by forests and mountains.
  • Descend back to Sari, lunch en route, and departure for Delhi.
